If There’s One Thing I’m Hearing…

If there’s one thing I’m hearing from the Lord these days it’s that there’s “confusion” in the Church regarding “how” the children of God are to correctly respond to the culture/world. According to the Lord there are only two people groups: those born of God, and those born of Adam. Those who’s identity is connected to Christ. Who are “born from above, of God, being “New Creations” (2 Cor. 5:17), those “not of this world”, but separate, set-apart, holy to God, etc…” And those of Adam are, “of this world, of the “flesh”, and their god being themselves, etc…” I am aware Christians are to bring the light and truth of Jesus to the lost. For we all once were lost! But my point here is regarding the confusion between being a child of God vs the child of this world. The Lord makes it ABSOLUTELY clear that there is no union, no commonality, no “agreement” between those of Christ and those of this world! And currently there is a union and “blending” between the two, and therefore, confusion in the Church/Body-of-Christ which ought not be there! So then the LORD says, regarding this “good” kind of division….”I will be their God, [Christians] and they shall be my people. Therefore go out from their midst, and be separate from them, [the World] says the Lord,…(2 Corinthians 6:16b-17a).
