One Year Ago Today…

“This Pandemic is NOT the judgement of God, it is the MERCY of God!

Here is why: Because when God judges the world, He out of His holy wrath destroys those who have chosen to reject Him (after they have been graciously offered His salvation year after year after year…). But the movement across the globe of this pandemic, which the majority recover from, has been gradual and merciful in its speed and power, and MANY are spared, and most do recover! Therefore, I am absolutely convinced this is meant to be what I call a “reminder”, to cause this world to remember its Creator, to know they are not god, or little god’s (all peoples). That they are not in control, He is. That the Creator of Heaven and Earth alone will receive praise and glory because in His great mercy He is at the same time “reminding” His own children that He alone is Salvation, and to run to Him all the more. That if there has been what I call “noise” in your busy life, distracting you from dependence on and intimacy with your Father, then cling to Him as your “first love” again! The apostle Paul notes, “Or do you presume on the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that God’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance?” (Romans 2:4). God’s mercy leads to salvation, but God’s wrath leads “only” to death and destruction of the “ungodly” as the scriptures say. God’s judgement being seen in “Noah’s flood”, “Sodom and Gomorrah” and in the book of Revelation all include ultimate destruction with “very” few survivors.

And lastly, this is an opportunity for His children, the light of the world, and the salt of the earth, to love Him and one another more perfectly (being “sanctified”), and to shine the light, salvation and shelter of Christ to a dark and fearful world!”
