“Is not my word like fire, declares the Lord, and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces? Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, declares the Lord, who steal my words from one another. Behold, I am against the prophets, declares the Lord, who use their tongues and declare, ‘declares the Lord.’ Behold, I am against those who prophesy lying dreams, declares the Lord, and who tell them and lead my people astray by their lies and their recklessness, when I did not send them or charge them. So they do not profit this people at all, declares the Lord” (Jeremiah 23:29-32)
There are false prophets in the land who are saying “peace, peace, when there is no peace” these “prophets” are full of dreams of a recovered economy. Of unity and oneness between mankind. Of prosperity and healing in the earth. They say, “Go about your day as you always have. Pursue your dreams. Plan out your life for many years to come. There is no threat on the horizon, etc., etc…”
They are blind guides. They do not discern the lateness of the hour! Why? Because they have fallen asleep. They have not been watching, not listening, not paying attention. Why? Because of the constant “noise” of daily business. Of going here and there. Being “caught” in the many distractions of the times and the NEED to “fit in”. For who truly wants to be disliked, or thought of as “weird, or a conspiracy theorist”. Who wants to be rejected by their family and churches for believing something “different” than the majority.
These are confusing times and we MUST be aware, awake, and watching! We must be about our Father’s business and the kingdom of our coming King.
One day some in the world will discover they have been lied to. And on that day the Church will be the one responsible to offer the answer. To declare light,, truth, and hope to the lost
