This is the Glory of God… “Immanuel” A Unique Perspective.

You may listen to the post. Or you may read the post. Or both

The heavens declare the glory of God, …

Let us begin here…

“Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness“…”So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them” (Gen. 1:26-27, emphasis mine).

“When Adam had lived 130 years, he fathered a son in his own likeness, after his image, [Adam’s image] and named him Seth” (Gen. 5:3, emphasis mine).

I have no idea whether you have ever paid close attention to the verses above before. But it is time to. And they may change how you see the world. One verse is regarding the “glory of God” another is regarding the “glory of Adam (Man).”

For, "that which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit" (John 3:6)

So then, approximately 2000 yrs. ago …the glory of God returned to earth

Since “He [Jesus] is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power” (Heb. 1:3, emphasis mine).

When Jesus Christ appeared, He came as “Immanuel” God with us. He came as the glory of God, as the imprint of God in flesh. He came as the fulfillment of this verse and to reverse the curse: For the LORD said, “I will put enmity between you [Satan] and the woman [Eve, Israel, Mary], and between your offspring [Cain, and all humanity born of Adam, or Man, or “of the flesh,” void of the Spirit] and her offspring; [all who are “born of God,” in His image; in the image of Christ] he shall bruise your head, [Jesus Christ, by His resurrection from death] and you shall bruise his heel [by the death of the cross]” (Gen. 3:15, emphasis mine).

And when the Son of God had fulfilled the will of His Father He returned home. Then He sent His own image to come live inside every child…born of God; born not of the will of man, nor of the flesh, nor of blood, but of God! (John 1:13).

And this is the…Glory of God

Now, this is the testimony: The glory of God became man, so that man may return to the glory of God.

So now I ask. Do you realize “who” exactly lives inside you? And do you realize this “reverse of the curse” now makes you a child of God? Meaning: Born of a Spiritual seed, not natural. Born of the same genetic makeup as Jesus Christ. The same DNA which is in God, you carry in you. The same Spirit, life, power, and breath which carried Jesus every step of His life now carries you. So, do you know “who you are” child of God? You are not your own, thankfully. You belong to God. Your life is His life. Your being is His being. Your breath is His breath … You are His. Now, are you living according to your “identity”?

By the power of Jesus Christ in you; by the power of the resurrection in you; by the power of the Holy Spirit of God in you, this is true:

“For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ” (2 Cor. 4:6, emphasis mine).

“And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit” (2 Cor. 3:18).

You are “being transformed” into the glory of God as you behold His glory, as you “seek His face” in prayer, in the Word, in worship, in fellowship … in glory

Finally,

“But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us”…”So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day” (2 Cor. 4:7, 16). “Such is the confidence that we have through Christ toward God. Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from God” (2 Cor. 4:3-5, emphasis mine).

“For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?” (1 John 5:4-5, emphasis mine).

Therefore, look up! Seek the Kingdom above, where Christ is, and where you are truly too
