2023: They Are Coming After You

Happy New Year???

Back in late 2020 I created this Blog site. I created it for the main purpose of bringing Light into the Darkness. What I mean by that is bringing revelation into the Chaos that I saw within Christianity in America, stemming from the pulpit and through social media. It is true that the Lord did tell me ahead of time what Covid was, and what it was not; how we were to respond, and how we were not to respond. And I used this site to expose the truth to the Church, to anyone who had “ears to hear.” My motivation for exposing the truth has never been political. It has always been solely to defend the Word of Truth. Today I am here to say that things are not going to get better in America. I am convinced there will not be revival. I am certain there will be increasing persecution of true, authentic Christians. I believe, with all my heart, that jobs will decrease for Christians who hold to their faith, and that long-standing careers for Christians will be lost. I am certain that the chasm between light and darkness will increase, and you will know for certain who is on the side of “Light” and who is not. I have been begging believers to remove themselves from the world and its influence. Because they, the world, are no longer listening. Their ears have grown deaf, and their hearts have grown hard. I am NOT saying stop declaring the truth of the gospel. And I am not saying salvation has ceased. I am saying that those who once were willing to hear, no longer are interested. But those who are broken and without hope, and who KNOW they are broken and without hope, will be willing to hear and to respond to the gospel. If what I am writing here sounds harsh, unloving, or too negative, then go read your Bible. I am not saying anything new. I am just saying that we are “there” now. And what I mean by “there” is we are in the last of the last days. We are living in the times predicted by Jesus and Paul. Meaning these times: “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake. And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold.” (Matt 24:9-12). And these times: “But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power.” (2 Tim 3:1-5). And these times: “For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.” (2 Tim 4:3-4). And these times: “But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth will be blasphemed. And in their greed they will exploit you with false words.” (2 Pet 2:1-3).

Now here are the words of “encouragement” which Jesus wants us to remember in these days: “If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will also keep yours.” (Jn 15:18-20). Did you see the encouragement? You are NOT of this world, but you are chosen OUT of it. This is very good news! And this is your hope! You should not be fitting in here at all, in this society; in your secular job, in the public school, in your neighborhood, at the supermarket, and in everyday normal conversation in “this” world. You should feel like an alien and stranger because you do NOT belong here. This is NOT your home! So, our hope is not in this world, because the world will only grow ever increasingly hostile toward us. But our hope is in the coming of our blessed Lord and Savior Jesus Christ … soon! And regarding that, Paul explains: “For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming. The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” (2 Thess 2:7-12). Most evangelical bible teachers believe the “restrainer” is the Church. And I think I agree, since we are the Salt and Light of the world. And the Church will be “removed” from this world in this way: “For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. Therefore encourage one another with these words.” (1 Thess 4:16-18).

I began this post with the “raw” truth of the times. I began by presenting what I am convinced of, regarding our times. And though it does not APPEAR to be a “positive and hope-filled” 2023 message. If you live daily with a “biblical worldview,” living according to scripture, and in fellowship with the Holy Spirit, as a normal way of life for you, THEN this message is full of hope and encouragement. For if you “authentically” love Jesus Christ, and if He is your Lord and Savior, then this message is wonderful news! Let me remind us all of what that last verse of 1 Thessalonians 4:18 says: “Therefore encourage one another with these words.” And so, our hope and encouragement are in the return of Jesus Christ to take us home, taking us out of this “wicked and depraved generation” (Ac 2:40).

  1. Thank you, brother. I had been praying that I would find some like-minded brothers and sisters, and I see that the Father is answering my prayer.
