Truly, What Were You Seeking?…

WHERE IS YOUR HEART PLANTED?

I want to begin with this question. “Why” did you vote for who you voted for in 2020? (This is NOT a presidential/political post. I hate politics!). What were you seeking? With all honesty, I believe I have this question from the Lord to ask. I believe He desires that we search our hearts and our motives. What were we after? Was it for freedom? Was it for land, or property? Was it for business or for financial security? Was it for our homes and borders? Was it for AMERICA the great? I am not saying those reasons are wrong in any way, however…

What was God looking for? What did He desire for our motives to be? For righteousness, for holiness, for repentance, for brokenness of heart, for humility, for salvation,…for the KINGDOM from above

Would have the person you voted for brought that? Our Lords question is “where are you planted”? Where is your “treasure”? Are you “sober-minded and awake” for the day? Or are you sleepy or busy and distracted by many things? Are you anxious and troubled? For many many years the Church of greater America has crept closer and closer in proximity to the ideas and beliefs of the World. I am not saying every Christian has, or every church has. What I am saying is there has been a “spirit of pride” which has crept in to the Church. The spirit of pride begins by questioning the authority of God and His Word of truth. This began in the Garden of Eden. But later with modernism and the enlightenment back in the 1800’s (actually before). It came over from Europe. But now up to the present, meaning 1964? When prayer was removed from school, because our ideas are greater than God’s right? And it all sped downhill from there. Though to us it seems slow. But according to time and history it is nothing. So, we are reaping the consequences of “PRIDE”. We, as a nation, now believe “WE ARE GOD” and there is no other. But that spirit of pride crept in slowly and did not announce itself, it came in disguised as “intelligence, science, and psychology” It came in as Humanism, and secularism and post-modernism which is now “POST-TRUTH” as there is now “no truth”, for truth is relative.

So, here we are today, many years and generations later. Universities, which may have at one time not imposed their beliefs upon the Church, now have combined together with it. Also, Psychology and Christianity have merged. Secular philosophical beliefs with the Word of God. All these “IDEOLOGIES” which are mind-sets which have rooted themselves in our thinking. Which are strongholds of the mind which have set themselves up against the knowledge of God (sound familiar). We are to “take these captive to obey Christ” as the apostle Paul explains.

But I want to ask, has God been asleep? NOPE. Has He been trying to get our attention? ABSOLUTELY. Since for “Many years you bore with them and warned them by your Spirit through your prophets. Yet they would not give ear. Therefore you gave them into the hand of the peoples of the lands. Nevertheless, in your great mercies you did not make an end of them or forsake them, for you are a gracious and merciful God. (Neh. 9:30-31)…“Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry” (1 Cor 10:14).

There it is. There is a ton of history packed into those verses! Though God does bring judgement on the nation which rejects Him, ONLY after knowing about Him and His offer of salvation that is. Is still merciful and gracious, wanting none to perish but all to come to repentance. So, through judgement God extends mercy. Since it is true that in order for a people to awaken to the reality of a true Heaven and Hell, whether those who are not real interested in His offer of salvation at the moment (those of the world) or those who are His but have “planted themselves in the earth” instead of in Heaven and who have been sleepy and distracted. Therefore, a “WAKE-UP CALL” must be sounded. An alarm must sound. Warnings from heaven (Prophets) and warnings from earth, (turbulence and distress and tribulations, NOT the final one). God will always be proven true. His Word is as good today as it was at the beginning. So here I am to warn, to prepare, and to remind. The Lord has been URGING the Church, His children, to “come out from the World and be separated to Him ALONE, in holiness, in consecration, in LOVE”. I KNOW many who read what I post are already on board!!! I am just doing what I cannot help but do. You who have already separated yourself unto the Lord can just get fired up with me for the urgency of the times and the day. I trust you are heeding the voice of the Spirit and doing what He has given you to do for His glory at this hour (I know you are:) WELL DONE!!! Especially my sisters in Christ, you know who you are. Thankyou BTW for supporting my ministry by allowing me to post on your sites!

So we, children of God, are not to fear, but to be alert, awake, and ready, awaiting our Lord’s return. Being Salt and Light to the World. And Encouraging one another to stand firm and to look up, with minds FIXED on things above, not on the things of earth. We are to renew our minds daily with the Truth and to present our bodies as living sacrifices, holy to the Lord (Rom. 12:1-2).

Finally, remember the verse above, “Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry” (1 Cor. 10:14). I want to end with this exhortation and encouragement:

"Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God" (Heb. 12:1-2).............STAND FIRM
